His career paths have traveled many positive avenues, starting as an electrical assistant, maintenance assistant and maintenance supervisor to operating his own electrical contracting business. His favorite career chapter was during his tenure as a regional residential property manager and gaining11 years of interesting experience. Charlie also has over four years experience in project management where he overseen the rehabilitation and new construction of entire communities. Charlie is currently the operator of his own photography, audio, video and marketing ventures and is called upon often for his expertise in community redevelopments. Charlie has in the past been a substitute teaching for Richmond County Schools and Augusta Technical College.

Charlie not only believes in giving time to our youth, he actually does. He has been a volunteer assistant coach in Richmond County for over ten years. He has volunteered and coached players from recreation to high school to include T.W. Josey and Butler. He facilitates strength and conditioning programs for some of our local amateur boxers and is a martial arts instructor to a few well selected youths.

Mr. Hannah enjoys debating, movies, cartoons, reading, writing cooking, music producing under the CB Record’s label and helping our kids to stay on a positive path in life. Any young man that he works with Charlie considers an M.I.T. student (Men In Training).

Charlie has received many awards and accomplishments in his lifetime including but not limited to; Who's Who in Executives and Business, Master Electrician, Master Photographer, Certified Coach, 6th dan in the art of Aiki-Bujutsu, 1st dan in the art of Tae-kwon-do, recognition award from Augusta Child Advocates, Georgia Youth Association Program, National Youth Association Program, Richmond County DFAC, Georgia Association of Homes for Children and The foster Care and Adoption Community.

Charlie is a current and/or pass member of the following organizations; National Democratic Party, NAACP, NRA, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, American Security Educators and Trainers and International Photographers Association.

Charlie has also served the county in volunteer capacities by being appointed to the Augusta Canal Authority by Commissioner Willaims and the Small Business Advisory Committee by Commissioner Hatney.
